How to check IPO result in Nepal

What a BOID is, how to check an allotment, and how to check every family account at once instead of one at a time.

Short answer: all you need is your BOID. Save your family's BOIDs once in the free Bulk IPO Result app and one tap checks the official allotment for every account together, showing exactly who was allotted and how many kitta. Checking manually is possible too, but the official site accepts only one BOID per lookup.

First, what is a BOID?

BOID

Your 16-digit demat account number, issued by your broker or DP. It's all you need to check a result.

Meroshare account

A username and password login. Needed to apply to IPOs, see your portfolio and pull application reports. Not needed just to check a result.

The fast way: check every account at once

Most Nepali families hold several demat accounts, so on result day the same lookup gets repeated for every parent, sibling and spouse. Bulk IPO Result removes that: save each BOID once, then check them all together.

1

Add your BOIDs

Enter each family BOID once. The app remembers them for every future IPO.

2

Pick the company

Open Easy IPO Result and choose the issue you applied to.

3

Tap once

Every account comes back in one list, with allotted kitta next to each name.

  • Free for up to 50 accounts, no login needed to check results
  • Retries automatically when the official servers are overloaded
  • Notifies you the moment results are published
  • Reads the same official allotment data, nothing unofficial

Checking manually, one account at a time

If you only have a single BOID, you can look it up yourself on the official CDSC result website: choose the company, enter the BOID, and submit. It reports whether that one account was allotted.

It works, but it is worth knowing the limits before result day:

Common questions

How do I check my IPO result in Nepal?

You need your BOID (demat account number). The Bulk IPO Result app checks the official allotment result for every BOID you have saved at once and shows a single list of who was allotted and how many kitta. If you only have one account, you can also look it up manually on the official CDSC result website, one BOID at a time.

Can I check IPO results for multiple BOIDs at once?

Yes, but not on the official website, which only accepts one BOID per lookup. The Bulk IPO Result app stores your family's BOIDs once and then checks them all together in a single tap, which is why most Nepali families with several demat accounts use it on result day.

What is a BOID?

A BOID (Beneficial Owner Identification) is your 16-digit demat account number, issued by your broker or DP. It identifies you in the CDSC system and is all you need to check an IPO allotment result.

Do I need a Meroshare login just to check results?

No. A BOID alone is enough to check an allotment result. A full Meroshare login (username and password) is only needed to apply to IPOs, load your portfolio, or fetch application reports.

Why is the IPO result site slow or not loading on result day?

Everyone in the country checks at the same moment, so the official servers get overloaded and many requests simply fail. Retrying after a few minutes usually works. The Bulk IPO Result app retries automatically in the background, so you do not have to sit refreshing a page.

Is checking IPO results free?

Yes. Checking allotment results is free, both officially and in the Bulk IPO Result app, whose free plan covers up to 50 BOIDs and Meroshare accounts.

When are IPO results published in Nepal?

Allotment results are normally published a few days after the issue closes, once the allotment is finalised. There is no fixed hour, so notifications from an IPO app are the easiest way to know the moment results are out.
